1. Eva Holbrook’s backyard paradise
Eva Holbrook, the queen of California outdoor living, transformed this Mill Valley backyard into a Zen-inspired sanctuary, where every detail pays homage to its natural surroundings. We were thrilled to feature the entire project on our blog, and it quickly became your most-liked post of the year!
2. Studio Whitford’s moody country laundry room
In this historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania home, Studio Whitford designed a custom countertop cabinet that seamlessly conceals water shut-off valves, hides clutter, and provides a stylish shelf for showcasing heirloom pieces. Other standout features in this charming space include a NativeStone concrete sink, a convenient pull-out ironing board, elegant hanging clothing racks, and thoughtfully organized linen storage.
3. Minty Synth Interiors’ primary bath transformation
Freestanding tub > drop-in tub (every single time). Minty Synth Interiors, located in Dallas, shared that the client’s dream bathroom included a steam shower or sauna, heated floors, and a top-of-the-line toilet. The rest of the design fell into place after a showroom visit, where she instantly fell in love with our striking concrete bathtub.
4. Nicole Forina’s copper tub stunner
After completing this luxury bathroom design in a 100-year-old Colonial in Summit, New Jersey, designer Nicole Forina shared, “Let me tell you, the hand-hammered polished copper tub is giving major ‘look-at-me’ vibes. Seriously, when the sunlight hits it, it’s shinier than my high school prom dress. It’s so stunning, you’ll want to just stand in the shower and admire it like a museum exhibit. Because let’s be real: this tub is for looking, not for actual bathing.”
5. D’Amore Interiors’ award-winning plum powder room
Gina D’Amore Bauerle, a designer at D’Amore Interiors in Denver (founded by parents Marilyn and Frank D’Amore), transformed a cluttered basement storage area into a vibrant powder room, perfectly complementing a nearby theater and game room. The design was inspired by the Jaclo Industries plumbing fixtures in plum, which set the tone for the room. To create a cohesive look, the trim was painted to match the fixtures. The Cuzco Vanity added balance, blending purple and gold accents with a striking black-and-white palette. This creative design earned D’Amore Bauerle second place in the powder room category at the 2024 NKBA Design Competition.
6. Designs By D makes the Positano sink the crown jewel of Parade of Homes
